his 8 week (Certificate) or 12 week (Diploma) TESL Course Includes theoretical analysis and practical work. International students with this certificate will have the qualification necessary to help them find a job teaching English in their own countries. The course focuses on: theories and principles in teaching and communication; psychological factors such as class management, class control, dealing with different types of learners etc; materials, equipment and technology in language learning; teaching the four main language skills – speaking, listening, reading, writing; course/lesson plan strategies, in-school teaching sessions and peer observation where the theory is put into practice. The recommended entry level equivalents are: TOEFL 500 (TOEFL – CBT 200) or above, TOEIC 680 or above, Graduates of Omnicom High Intermediate or Advanced levels or Omnicom TOEFL / TOEIC / Business English Programs. Students may also take the Omnicom Diagnostic Placement Test.
