Individuals who are interested in teaching English as a career within Canada or abroad can enrol in a TESL program. TESL is a program to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages. TESL is designed to teach individuals theories, principals of teaching, classroom management and lesson-planning. Directed observation and practice teaching in an adult learning environment is a fundamental component of the program.
