hese programs were designed for those students who require intense speaking and listening practice. Our Focus on Communication Programs have 2 levels of study – Focus on Communication I (FCA) for the lower-intermediate student, and Focus on Communication II (FCB) for the more advanced learner. Both levels are divided into 2 sections:
a. Focus on Speaking The Focus on Speaking Program in Omnicom is specifically designed for students to enhance their English speaking. The course is based on the SQUARE concept which stresses speed, quality of response, accuracy and response time. Students gain self-confidence and improve their oral communication skills by means of vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. A key part of the Focus on Speaking course emphasizes mini-dialogues, role-plays, presentations and formal public speaking
b. Focus on Listening Omnicom's Focus on Listening Program is based on the Three Is concept: Imagine, Identify and Interpret. The course is designed for those students interested in sharpening their listening skills by the use of multi-media and various audio texts taken from the real world. Students will develop the abilities they need to function smoothly and prepare them to respond to various accents.
