ultifaceted teaching methodologies are employed throughout the program. Communication-based programs are available for all levels: Beginner (Level 1) to Advanced (Level 14). Areas of English focused on include grammar, writing, vocabulary, idioms, reading, pronunciation, speaking, listening and colloquial North American English. Students have many opportunities to practice English in real-life situations outside the classroom.
Elective Courses:
In addition to their Intensive English classes, students are given a choice of an elective class. Students can choose TOEFL iBT Preparation, TOEIC Preparation, Business English, Creative Writing, Canadian Culture, Debating, World Issues, Business English - Cambridge Preparation, Conversation and Focus on Vocabulary Development. Choices depend on the students' level and classes are held twice a week. Classes are open if a minimum number of students have registered.
