The Study & Work in Canada Program is designed for students wanting to develop their English language skills with the purpose of living and working in Canada while here on a Working Holiday Visa. Students with a low intermediate level of English are eligible for this program. This practical, multi-skill program is divided into 2 components. The first component is Daily English and the second is Employment. Students will focus on grammar and pronunciation building activities along with vocabulary in real life situations. Communicative tasks are an essential part of the program and students will be given the opportunity to expand and apply their knowledge in and outside of the classroom. Students will also acquire the crucial and practical skills necessary for success in the North American job market. Primary focus will be on the cover letter writing, resume writing, job search and interview skills. This program will employ a variety of dynamic teaching techniques including role-plays, videos, discussions as well as various interactive activities such as field trips, information hunts, multimedia exercises and Canadian surveys.
Course Requirements:
TOEIC score of 300, or TOEFL score of 40 CBT, 310 PBT, 12 iBT, or Low-intermediate level placement test, OR successful completion of Level 4, Omnicom Intensive English Program.
