      Curriculum Outline for International Student Programs


   Cambridge Examination Preparation - CEP25


The Cambridge Examination Preparation consists of 5 hours of dedicated preparation each day. Students assessed at the Upper Intermediate level or higher and interested in taking the Cambridge exam, can enrol in our Cambridge Examination Preparation. This program covers the 5 Papers on the exam. Test strategies and tips are given daily.

Simulated tests along with reports are given on a weekly basis so that both the student and teacher can monitor the progress made.

Students can enrol in this program for 12 weeks.

FCE - First Certificate in English (Upper Intermediate)
This is the most popular of the Cambridge examinations. It is ideal for students at the Upper Intermediate level learning how to use English in everyday settings and for practical purposes. It assesses the ability to do clerical work or work in the tourism field. The course will help the student become familiar with the different Papers on the exam (Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking).
 

CAE - Certificate in Advanced English (Advanced)
This exam is ideal for students at the advanced level wishing to use their English skills in a professional or academic environment. Students who are successful on this exam will be able to communicate effectively. This exam will test all the skills: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking. It is recommended that students have successfully completed the Cambridge First Certificate Examination (FCE) before taking this course and examination.
 

CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English (Advanced)
This is an advanced level examination for students wishing to pursue their studies at a post-secondary level or for business and academic purposes. Students will be aiming toward an English proficiency similar to that of a native speaker. It encompasses the five Papers: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking.

Course Requirements:
TOEIC score of 550, or TOEFL score of 450 (130 cbt, 45 iBT), or Upper-intermediate level placement test, OR successful completion of Level 9, Omnicom Intensive English Program.
Age requirements: 18

Length of study:
4, 8 or 12 weeks, 25 hours/week
